Most wedding cloth were embroidered on old indigos previously owned by close member of family and given to bride on her wedding day. The embroideries were mainly multi coloured in geometric designs, like in this piece.
It was made with narrow strips of cloth, handwoven from hand spun indigo cotton, and then embroidered in the colourful pattern before being joined to form a bigger piece.
**pictures are close representation of the piece however not 100% as some hues like indigos are difficult to capture and also due to different light conditions and viewing screens.
