A beautiful vintage handmade Moroccan Berber bread basket.
This wonderful woven basket was handmade by Berber women in the Atlas Mountain, using coiled reed and raffia.
Its striking geometric patterns and colours are perfect for the boho and eclectic style interior. Use it as a fruit basket, for breads, plants, knitting wool storage or simply as a piece of art. No two are the same as it was made for own domestic use.

The berbers take their inspirations from their life and surroundings. The symbols on this basket depict that life. Being in the mountains, it is only natural for them to be from what is around them, animals, insects, plants and flowers. It can also be of life and fertitility, festivals and celebrations.
