▪︎ABOUT
Usually worn as a piece of clothing, wrapped around the body or waist.
It was made with nine narrow strips of hand woven cloth which was then hand stitched together to form a bigger piece, resisted with ties in the desired pattern, before dying in indigo. Also been folded and clamped to form a subtle zig zag pattern in darker indigo tone.
Decorated on one side with coloured fringes.
**pictures are close representation of the piece however not 100% as some hues like indigos are difficult to capture and also due to different light conditions and viewing screens.
