This beautiful textile with unusual green base is from Niger, woven by a weaver from the Djerma ethnic group. It is called 'tera tera' and is used as a wedding cloth.
Perfect for any textile lover. Suitable as a blanket, bed cover, wall hanging, throw or any interior project.

Téra-téra blankets are given to brides and grooms as wedding gifts in Niger. The blankets are woven with cotton thread in long narrow strips, a traditional method of weaving in West Africa. They are then sewn together using the machine, which is typical in this period.
