This beautiful and striking embroidered cushion cover was made from chaniya, an outfit made for wedding in Kutch, northern India.
It is perfect for the eclectic and bohemia style interior. Its striking bold design will look great too in a minimalist room as a focal point to the plain sofa or bed.

The chaniya were made as wedding gifts by mothers for their daughters. These were then passed down as an heirloom to the next generations.
Embroidered by the Ahir and Kanabi Patel community of north eastern Kutch, Gujarat using cotton and silk thread on cotton base.
