The center square was made with copper stamp while the main body with tjanting, a copper tool used to apply the wax resist.
Worn as headwrap by Indonesian men. In floral and fauna design with chicken and babon angrem (chicken coop) motif. This symbolises patience, fertility, compassion and hope.
There is a stamp with numbers in the middle square, probably the serial number of the piece.
