The center square was made with copper stamp while the main body with tjanting, a copper tool used to apply the wax resist.
Worn as headwrap by Indonesian men. In gurda motif symbolising strength, bravery and wisdom and also in other animal motifs.
There is a stamp with numbers in the middle square, probably the serial number of the piece.
