▪︎ABOUT
Handwoven by Berber women for carrying tea pot and glasses for the men working in the fields. Was also for bread and food.
The berbers take their inspirations from their life. It is only natural for them to be from what is around them, animals, insects, plants and flowers. It can also be of life and fertitility, festivals and celebration.
This basket is in diamond pattern. The diamond motif, a symbol for women, is the most common used in Berber design. Not surprising as the task of weaving and making are usually carried out by the women in the household.
